We chose Tara to be our wedding photographer because she has a keen artistic edge that really makes her work stand out. Also, we knew her on a personal level so we were aware that she had a strong work ethic coupled with a very calm demeanor, which made her a welcome addition to what could be a very stressful day. Those traits, along with her attention to detail, make Tara highly capable of handling any challenges presented to her. She was a great sport and stayed composed as we hiked a mile through the forest searching for the perfect spot to have our first look. We decided on an intimate, wooded clearing near an isolated meadow. Tara placed us and the bridal party perfectly while using the natural landscape to beautifully frame her shots. 
If you’re lucky enough to work with Tara, you’ll see that with her technical skills also comes her dazzling personality. She always managed to keep things light-hearted by helping us remember to laugh and enjoy the “in-between” moments that can often be overlooked. Working with Tara was one of the most care-free parts of the wedding. We had complete faith in her ability to mitigate stressful moments, which she did. We had a number of small children in our group family shots, which can be quite difficult to navigate, but Tara was able to think quickly on her feet and adapt to the situation as needed. She was able to make her presence known when she needed to command the space, while also helping everyone stay relaxed and feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Tara’s photographs help me remember all the little moments, like fighting back tears of joy when I saw my wife for the first time, or the wave of embarrassment and hilarity that washed over us during the speeches. She also did a wonderful job of capturing the details of my wife’s homemade wedding dress and all of the other hand-made items that adorned the wedding site. The precious details that you think people might miss, Tara managed to capture perfectly. Now our living room is equipped with two very large photo albums from our wedding day, because we wanted every single glorious shot, and Tara’s photographs are how we continually re-live the best day of our lives. Her unique photos beautifully immortalized all the planning, hard work, emotions and truly magical instances that made our wedding so uniquely special.

Tara is the best! She did our wedding and engagement photos and they were EXACTLY what we asked for. She captured so many good moments. She was such a pleasure to work with, so easy and patient, which is saying something with our rowdy wedding party. We’ve also used her for business shoots and she is an extremely talented, versatile photographer and we always get photos back in a timely manner.

You must work with Tara! We still get compliments on Tara's pictures of our wedding. Her pictures are personal and stunning, and she's such a pro. Tara brought out the absolute best in us, our guests, and the setting. From the very beginning of working with her, I could tell she was going to be a joy! She knew just what kinds of questions to ask and advice to give for two people who aren't used to having professional photos done, but she made sure to let us be the ultimate guides of what we wanted. Tara perfectly balances a kind and easy nature with authority that really made us feel so comfortable and taken care of on the big day. Though she was working, having her take our pictures was like hanging out with a friend. I didn't feel stressed at any point and you can see in our photos how relaxed we are.

Two years later, I still can't pick a favorite picture. Each one is beautifully-captured and reflects all the wonderful feelings of that day. The way Tara captures movement, light, and emotionality shows how artistic and intentional she is with each and every frame. She's not just documenting your day-she's revealing and preserving the feelings that you want to be able to remember forever.
