Hey friend

Hey there, thanks for coming to check things out! I’m Tara Deaton, a wedding and lifestyle photographer who has been in the biz for 4+ years and has been shooting since I was a preteen! As a photographer I love a vintage or retro aesthetic, I don’t shy away from color and I love love love getting creative with my clients. Beyond working my dream job I am also a dog mama (and plant mama… soo many plants), an artist, a delicious cocktail enthusiast, a thrift store queen, a weightlifter and just generally a pretty chill lady. I believe the most impressive thing a person can be is kind. And I believe pizza is always an appropriate meal. When I am not at home in Orange County working on projects or relaxing with my boyfriend you can probably find me sipping on an iced latte at the dog park with my pug, Dr. Evil or having a Painkiller at the local tiki bar.

As your photographer I am here to serve you, not just on the day of your wedding or session, but in the discussions and preparations beforehand, with creativity and guidance during and the hours spent lovingly and carefully editing your photos and answering any questions after. I do this work because I love people, I love photography and to be frank— because I give a sh*t about you.
